The Good Shepherd Parish Conference of St. Vincent de Paul has been in service since 1961. We are one of 26 Conferences in Windsor/Essex with the goal of making a positive difference in the lives of the poor, seniors, underemployed and marginalized. Thru the generous support of our parishioners, our Conference helps individuals and families with food, clothing, furniture and appliances.

Meetings are held at 7 p.m. at Good Shepherd Parish on the third Tuesday of each month. Scroll to the bottom to connect with Steve and get involved!

• Provide emergency food assistance
• Vouchers for clothing and household goods from our resale shops in Windsor and throughout the County
• A free summer camp program for children ages 7–15 who would not normally be able to afford a week away from home. This camp offers canoeing, crafts, hiking, sports, swimming, and more.
• Assisting other Conferences in Windsor/Essex who have greater needs than our own
• Visits to shut-ins and the sick
• A Jail Committee is made up of Vincentians dedicated to serving the incarcerated and their families

100% of the donations are used to support those who are in need. The Society receives no funds from the government or United Way.

• Cans for a Cause at Devonshire Mall each December
• Sleepwalk Fundraiser in May for the purchase of beds
• Large donation bin which can be found in the Good Shepherd south parking lot for clothes and small appliances
• A donation box found in the front vestibule of Good Shepherd
• Four donation envelopes found within the weekly Church envelopes
• September clothing drive

These stores are located in Windsor and the communities throughout Essex County. They have value priced, excellent quality clothing, home goods, appliances and furniture. All purchases help to fund the local community.
